We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Specialist to join our team. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing ac both organic and paid social media channels, with a primary focus on Facebook and Instagram. Your main objectives will be to grow our followership organically, drive demand, and increase conversions through effective and efficient advertising campaigns.
Tasks
- Plan, schedule, and publish engaging and high-quality content on our social media platforms, ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followership.
- Plan and execute paid advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram to reach new audiences and capture demand effectively and efficiently, meeting target cost and cost per acquisition (CPA) goals.
- Propose, brief and test new ad formats (images, animations, video)
- Monitor and analyse social media performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, conversions, and ROI, and provide regular reports to management.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing, advertising, and community management.
- Collaborate closely with other members of the performance team to align strategies and ensure cohesive messaging across channels.
- Brief the content and brand team in line with campaigns planned and develop engaging social media posts that resonate with our target audience.
- Monitor social media conversations, respond to comments and inquiries, and proactively engage with our audience to foster positive brand interactions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media platforms to identify new opportunities and innovative strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in social media management, with a focus on Facebook and Instagram.
- Proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns and achieving growth and conversion targets.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices for organic and paid promotion.
- Experience with social media advertising platforms, such as Facebook Ads Manager and Instagram Ads.
- Proficiency in briefing content, scheduling, and analytics tools for social media management.
- Strong understanding of advertising formats (image, video) and how they work for different audiences in different lifecycle stages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to convey brand messaging effectively.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and help develop engaging content ideas.
- Strong analytical skills to track and measure the success of campaigns and derive actionable insights.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
