THE ROLE & THE TEAM

The Content Strategy: Consideration & Curation team is responsible for planning, curating, and defining content initiatives across Zalando owned channels. In close alignment with our Portfolios and Local business objectives, we deliver audience-focused content with a goal to match our customer with love pieces that fit their body, mind and soul. Our team collaborates closely with propositions and portfolios, and with marketing and creative teams. As a Manager you will support the Lead with careful planning, precise briefing and assertive project management along with a keen eye for curation and trend forecasting and a passion for Designer brands - to create engaging and elevated content that embraces Zalando values and highlights the Designer assortment.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Become an expert on Designer brands, trends and cultural moments, demonstrating a strong awareness of OKRs, strategic goals and our Designer assortment
  • Support with planning, maintaining and executing the content calendar; coordinating the roll out of said content on multiple channels
  • Work closely with the Designer Buying team, SoMe, Markets and other stakeholders in content distribution, and collaborate with other propositions to drive visibility and awareness for Designer across the Zalando landscape
  • Deliver well-written creative briefs and align with internal production teams to manage campaigns end-to-end
  • Work with various stakeholders in defining new content formats and optimising the customer journey through engaging onsite content
  • Follow online and offline competition and cultural and fashion news, to stay informed on the latest trends and ensure our content is regularly updated and relevant
  • Track KPIs of onsite content and incorporate insights into content planning
  • Execute cross-functional projects and business initiatives, ensuring consistent delivery against determined targets and a very high level of detail across the board to support the Designer Content strategy

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • Experience (4+ years) in marketing with a proven track record in planning, briefing and execution for both commercial and editorial content
  • Experience within the luxury/fashion industry, a keen eye for trends and thorough industry knowledge
  • Experience working on creative development projects and working with creative teams
  • Sense of ownership and responsibility, innovation, and vigorous attention to detail are required
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to communicate and negotiate with various stakeholders
  • A familiarity with KPIs and applying data-driven decision making to content planning
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English (fluently) both verbal and written
  • Excellent computer literacy and eager to learn and grow
